You will need to order a base gasket comes with 4 bolts and nuts about $20 for the gasket seal kit. Or remove the base trim ring and remove the toilet for repair then you won't have to mess with the vent. If you have to remove the vent pipe you will have to cut the L just above the tank and unscrew the remainder of the L. it is spring loaded and can fly apart and hurt you. Do not try to dissemble the cartridge assy. Last one I bought several years ago was about $45. The flush valve cartridge can be ordered from a Dometic dealer online. You also might want to remove the base ring and check your bowl to tank bolts are tight. Then you can replace the flush valve cartridge. The metal flush lever is unbolted and the rest of the plastic lever cover comes off. The flush valve leaver side plate comes off. You should not have to mess with the vent pipe to repair the flush valve.

The easiest toilet repair is to install a external 1/2 PEX shout off valve going to the toilet. The piece leaking under your trailer is the shower strainer. It doesn't seem reasonable that the bathroom would be designed in such a way to make maintenance of the toilet impossible without major surgery, so I'm assuming there is a simple fix that I'm overlooking. It would appear that my only option is to cut the pipe, but even then the elbow (best seen in the 3rd picture) would be right in the way. The pipe is fixed into the wall and the tank below the toilet. Unfortunately, the PVC pipe shown in the picture is too close to allow the removal of that cover.

The manual for the Sealand toilet mentions removing the flush handle cover to get access to the water valve (where it appears to be leaking). The 2nd - 4th picture show the configuration of the toilet. The first picture shows a leak underneath the trailer, it looks like I should be able to disconnect and replace that part if I can identify what it is called. I failed to test the plumbing before purchasing, and yesterday hooked it up for the first time. The overflow tube is also required to fill the bowl to the proper level for the next flush. The overflow tube moves water from the tank to the toilet bowl to prevent water in the tank from overflowing. I put a sheet in a glass of water, and it never did dissolve. We had switched to a different brand tp that was supposed to be septic safe. I finally rented a 50' snake and broke through a dam of toilet paper. Where the kitchen drain connected, there was a clean out, but the pipe connected with the curve going in the direction of drain, and I couldn't get the snake to go in the uphill direction.
I ran my short snake through and it didn't help. It may have done it every year after that, I don't know as we parted ways.Ī couple years ago, my main bathroom quit flushing, but kitchen and 1/2 bath downstream worked fine. We had her tank pumped and all was fine until the next year when she had to do it again.
Her septic was just a foot or so below ground level and the back yard was level, so not much drop. My late sister had that problem with her house toilet. Your house 2 foot fall would probably give you enough storage or may have enough downward pressure to push the water out the finger field. Camera and snake will probably not find anything as it is water that is blocking the pipe and it opens it self back up when surface water stops entering the system. It had enough storage capacity to hold one full and one partial flush. First flush was fine, second one slower and third, nope. One apartment kept having trouble flushing.
Had a similar issue with an apartment building I own.
